Social Security Disability Questions

How are you paid for your services in social security cases? I don’t have any money.

So you cost me nothing unless I win?

I applied for social security disability insurance and they ruled I was not disabled, but I am not physically able to work. What should I do?

The good news is that you do not pay us any money for representing you unless you actually are awarded benefits. Our attorney fees are taken out of the lump sum back payments that you will receive when you are awarded benefits.

We charge you no attorney fees. The only money you may be asked to pay prior to the hearing is medical records fees if your doctor charges you for your medical files.

Contact the Social Security office where you first applied for benefits and request a reconsideration review on your file. It is not unusual to be turned down for benefits on your first application. If the second review opinion is unfavorable, call us to discuss your case. We can tell you whether you have a reasonable chance to win your benefits in a hearing before a judge.
